Are You Breaking Into it?

A little introspection, perhaps

The T-Channels, Internet and Newspapers are inundated with theories and narratives of what life might look like after this prolonged downtime that we term as ‘Quarantine.’ Speculations emerge emphasizing that this will be the biggest transformations of lifestyle as we have known it to be- with no retreat.

I often wonder if more of us see a perpetual blurr if we make no changes or are we letting this status-quo state grow on us? Are we breaking into a lockdown routine that we will outlive believing life will go back to 2019? Well, who would mind traveling back in time to be a year younger-a topic certainly worth revisiting in the future.

This time around, however, is it unfortunate that humankind is resilient and will come back stronger only to conquer the next plight? Perhaps, in retrospect, it no longer matches sense to go back to tradition. Don’t get me wrong! I would happily advoctate a ‘How to go back to pre-covid life 101,’ with fine print, ofcourse.

If you are like me, these past months will have been practical education on what we incessantly are taught to prioritize; a lesson learnt on health first, the rest will follow suit. Remember while many have been trying to live the boredom of lockdown, so many others have been trying not to die and recover from an aftermath they cant see through.

Let us disallow complacency to set in and mission on creating a brand new, new normal, re-emerging into a life-friendly existence. Take this time to reflect on what has and what might, however draw most of your focus on what has to. Re-evaluate what can be altered just a tad to make the future less evasive. A little tweaking by each one of us will go the distance. It is time to break out of the tunnel vision and with this thought I leave you to create your road map.
